We should think of capturing that area which connects Pakistan to China.That would be give us a great advantage.I have heard that Pakistan has deployed heavy army there and it is not possible to capture it without heavy casualities.

It does not cost India a fortune. The entire cost of maintaining Siachen is peanuts to the Indian Military. Let alone, the Indian Government. The Government is not even bothered by what it spends.

India's military budget alone is enough to run Siachen.
On the other hand, it costs a lot to Pakistan to maintain its position below Siachen.

anyways my actual point is not amount.. cost is high or meager.. it is being spent for nothing as far as India is concerned. thats the point.
