The border was open from 1947-2001 and yet there were no blasts inside Pakistan. When your own state supports militants and allows them to contest election no amount of border closing will do anything.

Now is different era though. Only 1 terrorist out of 100 need to cross from Afghanistan and blow up anywhere. To get rid of 100% of terrorism Afghanistan need to be cleared which isn't happening anytime soon.

What we will achive by closing border? BC sab nay chorian pahan rakheen hain. No wall, no technology will deter the enemy nations, only fear of repercussions would do.

Border should be completely sealed between Pakitan and Afghanistan. Afghanistan is being used as a foreign militery base to attack Pakistan. It's been happening for the past 17 years. Seal it. Stop this open big heart policy for good!

Regardless of election, seal the boarder. It a war torn country, and its in Pakistan best interest to close the border to protect its citizen. Let them fight, and kill each other in Afghanistan.
