They enrich our vocabulary.
But most importantly, we use meaning translation or pronunciation and meaning combined translation.
In these two word-creating processes, new words will get integrated into Chinese vocabulary. It's totally different from other languages' pure pronunciation translation(transliteration).
Correct. But they also impose barriers in communication
Some the "imported" phrases / idioms have a little story to tell
Some of them are quite awkward like deadline = 死线 which is awful!
They are not as directly understood as their Chinese equivalent
