totally clueless. .. if US wants to attack pak ... china will not meddle .. they just promised 50 thunders on fast track.. but didn't roled out.. India fought 4 wars with Pakistan. .. china did nothing. .
"Any attack on Pakistan would be construed as an attack on China," Beijing recently warned the US. After the Abbottabad operation, in which Osama bin Laden was killed, Pakistani Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani's visited China from May 17 – 21, 2011. His trip was hailed by the Pakistani press as a new historic landmark in bilateral relations, and interpreted as a sign of the progressive breakaway between Pakistan and U.S.

The Pakistani government resented the U.S. raid in Abbottabad, and turned immediately to Beijing to seek shelter under the wings of the communist regime. Now China threatens the U.S. should a similar event occur in Pakistan again. The threat is backed by China's nuclear capabilities, which include intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) that can target both Europe and United States.

During PM Gilani's visit, Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao said that Beijing would send a special envoy to Islamabad to express solidarity with Pakistan in this period of shaky relations with U.S.. The Pakistani daily The Nation wrote that "the new chapter is being added to further cement the existing excellent ties [between China and Pakistan], the focus of which would be to ensure mutual defense against all forms of foreign aggression." The paper further explains that PM Gilani would "apprise Beijing's top leadership of his country's experience and lessons learned from America's deep penetration inside Pakistani territory to kill Osama bin Laden," adding that "the military top brass and defense think tanks of both countries have been in close contact since the incident of May 2 [the day of the Abbottabad operation], and have been working out a joint defense mechanism."

China Enhances Pakistan's Air Force
To a question about Pakistani-U.S. relations after the Abbottabad operation, PM Gilani said that Pakistan will partly revisit its relations with the United States regarding cooperation in counter-terrorism. His words were echoed also by Pakistani Minister of Information Firdous Ashiq Awan, who said on Pakistan TV that the unilateral operation by the United States in Abbottabad has made the nation united [against the U.S.]. He added that concerning relations with the U.S., there is a need to move forward, keeping in mind Pakistan's national interests.

Sources disclosed that during PM Gilani's visit, China, one of Pakistan's largest aircraft providers, agreed to provide Pakistan with 50 new JF-17 Thunder multi-role fighter planes for its air force. China and Pakistan will also discuss the supply of J-20 Stealth and Xiaolong/FC-1 multi-purpose light fighter aircraft to Pakistan. The PAF has a fleet of Chinese aircraft, including F-7PGs and A-5s. The JF-17 "Thunder" program dates back to 1999, and is aimed at reducing Pakistan's dependence on Western companies for advanced fighters. China has, as well, offered Islamabad "anything" it needs to make defense "impregnable." Commentator Rashid Ahmad Khan wrote on the website China.org.cn. that China "never treated Pakistan as its junior partner," but always on equal terms, and mentioned that "China replaced the United States as Pakistan's principal source for arms and weapons when Washington imposed military sanctions on Pakistan in 1965 and 1990."

My friend China will never back out ......when it comes to Pakistan, just like when America tried to attack Pakistan in May 2011 and the Chinese PM said "An Attack on Pakistan will be an attack on China". And supplied Pakistan with 50 Thunders.Seeing this Uncle Sam just ran away.War is not easy as it is said.
if this is your understanding of geo-politics then God help your comprehension skills, China has not even attacked the U.S when the U.S flew an B-52 right through their ADZ (air defense zone) , & it will risk a war with the U.S for Pakistan , grow up, no matter how friendly No country will fight another country's war , that's just not how the world rolls , as simple as that , forget the U.S China refused to intervene even in Kargil , in fact it was neutral ! Reality

Yes do plebiscite in whole Kashmir. If they want their own country, then Give them.
So they collapse like a house of cards? An independent Kashmir is not viable. Period!

And a landlocked country which is unstable would be bad news for India as well as Pakistan. It would become a breeding ground and a hub for terrorism - a fundamentalist caliphate ruled by the likes of the ISIS.

The trouble is that those Kashmiris who are separatists, can't see beyond their noses. They haven't weighed the consequences of a romanticized independent Kashmir that they have conjured and tried to sell to the gullible public. Or if they have, then it's all about politics and the support given to the lame duck Hurriyat by their handlers from across.

The amount of money being funneled to these bozos by the Establishment is astronomical. Most have palatial bungalows and children studying abroad. And they profess to be the representatives and guardians of the ordinary Kashmiri! What a fukin' joke.

Oh my God I'm so afraid! I hope india won't annex Pakistan as it annexed other states (Goa, Hyderabad, Kashmir, Sikkim etc) with their mighty and brutal army.

Are you mad...No further change in physical boundary...Enough blood is spilled..Let Pakistan propser with whatever you get and allow us to prosper in our own way...

. . .
You're assuming my stance on Ukraine, which I haven't given. Balochistan is entirely irrelevant, neither Ukraine nor Kashmir has anything of the sort as to what the actual problem in Balochistan is. Now, enough discussion off topic.

You have the right to argue whether you think there should be no referendum, not to drag in other topics which I've specifically asked you not to.

I wanted to say Scotland:p:

USA didn't gave anything to Pakistan, they only gave $8billion dollars to Pakistan for aid to fight against terrorists. While Pakistan suffered more than $100 billion in war on terror. The aid usa gave to Pakistan is not sufficient. While china on other hand helped Pakistan not only militarily but also economically and also improved our infrastructure. They have invested trillion of dollars in economic sector of Pakistan. They even set up nuclear power plants for Pakistan in past and in future china will set up more nuclear power plants for pakistan.
And china is not only Pakistan's biggest exporter but also they are our biggest importer as well . Pakistan mostly import military equipments from china. And most importantly China will also supply nuclear submarine to Pakistan.
And last but not least the gawadar development not only strengthened relation ship between Pakistan and China but apart from that it also gave mega butt hurt to indians.

what about this
Sixty years of US aid to Pakistan: Get the data | Global development | theguardian.com
Pakistan has historically been among the top recipients of US aid - since 1948, the US has sent more than £30bn in direct aid to the country. Nearly half of this has been for military assistance. However, since Osama bin Laden was discovered and killed in Abbottabad earlier this year, US president Barack Obama has come under increasing pressure to justify US aid spending in the country.

OK, either all areas fighting for independence should get referendum or none of them. You can't chose it as you like. If Kashmir deserves referendum , then so does Baluchistan , Tibet, the Kurds in Turkey and all the 1000 odd separatist movements in the world.

don't worry forget about Pakistan, the Indian Army can't even attack Bhutan ! you know why because these freaking Indian Army no matter how brutal & mighty @ the end of the day are subservient to the civilian authorities , with out the civilians gov't s orders the Army can do jacksh!t , & that is exactly why these freaking Indian Army are so mighty & brutal because they concentrate on their job only & don't get involved in to politics , they only do what they are Ordered to do by their civilian authorities , yes these corrupt politicians who do dhandli , fake degrees & what not are still the Boss there , & the Army serves under them ,the Army calls them Saheb , Sarkar, Mai baap, hukum & that is the reason why they are mighty & brutal because they deserves it
because they are namak halals , they don't bite the hands that feeds them & that's why they are mighty & brutal & they rightfully deserve it
