As much as we love our national song, it should never be forced to people who don't want to sing it. Its much better if people sing it out of their own will. Otherwise whats the point?

If the same people who voted for muslim league to create pakistan in overwhelming majority (i.e. 98%), refuse to praise their mother land India, then the "message" becomes rather Loud and Clear for the rest of Indians.

Then don't blame others when they are looked upon with distrust and people refuse to give them houses on rent.

Sometimes the "force" is social and not legal. Like the "force" on you to wear clothes when you walk the streets.

Partition was a blessing in disguise. Otherwise there would have been civil war much later, and country divided into much more parts where Brits doing their job as catalyst. Think it this way, if India has so much religious tension with just 15% of Muslim population how you think we would have been ok with 30%? Partition did good to Hindus and Sikhs who migrated otherwise they would have suffered.

exactly , i can't imagine adding 400 million muslims to the current indian population . they would basically rule the country because they vote in packs , the party appeasing them would have ruled india till eternity . by now they would have become majority . thank god for that visionary jinnah . i have huge respect for that man
