Just because it is does it make it right...you still didnt answer my question...Just because it happens does it mean it is right?
And you are gonna go after them? Dude that site has been famous for a bit NO ONE endangered their lives since ....not gonna happen coz we posted it on PDF
The question was more on what are they dancing about with the Nabi's birthday banners in the background....If it was the prophet's bday and they were dancing ....It is very disrespectful mind you...that is all...
So Boys and Girls, for all those who took exception, Please explain what was so objectionable?
holy banner ke agy dance chal raha hai
Be reasonable talon, Since when is dance disrespectful of anyone?? And please tell us, is the concept of "Birthday" Islamic? For instance, did the prophet "celebrate" (think about the word, about what it means) his birthday? Yes or no?
Obviously not, since such a cultural construct did not exist in 7th century arabia -- does it mean we should not celebrate birthdays??
Dance is in our culture - the very symbol of our cultural heritage is the famous "dancing girl" figurine -- please lest not be more arab than the arab - lets be Muslims but Pakistani Muslims where Islam and our heritage and our culture are in harmony, not one interpretation trying to dominate everything because the reaction will be such that the interpretation in question will cease to exist (we will make sure of it) long before Pakistan and Islam in Pakistan will cease to exist.

I'll believe when Pakistanis stop killing in the name of blasphemy and "culture".
I only see people dancing?
Our Arabized crazies are into projecting Islam as Morose, as joy less - as if Islam was against art and culture, but of course we know what these people find joy in, spreading fitna, Takfir and bacha baazi
we have problem with the combination of banner with whats happening at front and portraying islam in wrong way. just remove the banner and do as they want as dance is not something new in our culture.
My objection is don't mix up islam with every thing. if you dont wanna obey then also dont try to portray it in wrong way. thats it.
i think every one will be agree with me on this.
we are not talking about dance
look at the back ground the banner is about the birthday of Holy prohet (S.A.W)
A Pakistani muslim girl dancing to Indian music in Islamic republic of Pakistan. That seems to be the issue here.
Yaara once again, a fight over "the truth" -- apparently Islam is and can only be What you say it MUST be -- be reasonable, such attitudes are not a risk to everyone else, they are risk to those who hold them -- consider, don't the Talib say the same thing? Don't they want the rest of us to follow what they say is Islam? And look at our response, we will wipe them out.
You can say hey I think it's "INAPPROPRIATE" TO ME, but if you begin making claims on behalf of all Islam, expect a problem. We should have learned by know that this constant warring over "the truth" is not what we should be doing -- And honestly if it was so offensive, people would not be watching the video to comment, isn't that so?
