China stated it was. they announced that their 4-6 Carriers would be super carriers. their 2-3 would be modern version copies of their Laoning (spelled that wrong).

First 4 carriers should be ski jump ones. After that should be EMAL ones. My take is China wants as many carriers as fast as possible to blockade Taiwan. Ski ones not that big are fast to build.

Russia is sufficient with frigates and corvettes. No one invades Russia anyway. Admiral Gorshkov class is world's most advanced frigate. Gremyashchiy class corvette is world's most advanced corvette.

it appears Russia can only build Frigates and Corvettes. anything bigger is to much for them.

they had a Battle cruiser in dry docks for almost 15 years waiting for modernization. Their Flag ship is in deep trouble. in 2014 they stated they would have 16 more Nuclear-powered attack submarines by 2020. well it 2020. where are those 16 more Nuclear-powered attack submarines??

Hell they also said they would have 2300 T14 tanks and 55 Su57 by now, where are they?

but once again the ski jump carriers lack the ability to launch AEWC/C2 planes. so any Carriers on the ocean side of Taiwan will be at the mercy of the US Navy. since they lack the ability to have main land China ground based Air support. they would be sending any ships to die.
