nawaz sharif is a barelvi himself. it is a known fact. The reason he is in bed with terrorists is that he is playing pure politics.

If you watch the numerous Pakistani satellite channels, and i am sure you do in the UK, all they talk about is love, brotherhood, charity, and helping the poor. In fact, Pakistanis are famous all over the world for being a people of Sadaqa!

Most mosques in the west are established by Pakistani donations. Pakistanis are not a bad people. They are a highly spiritual, and intelligent group of people.

If you would have met Syed Jalaluddin Shah of Bhiiki Shareef, in Mandi Bahauddin, you will know what a true Muslim scholar is. And then Shah Ahmad Noorani. Did these people ever curse on the pulpit? They ate the least, and slept the least and are famous Scholars from Northern Punjab and Karachi. Shah Ahmad Noorani had the sweetest of voices, that made your heart at peace. They followed the way of Sufi Mujahada, the way of Imam Ghazali.

My point: do not generalize. Not every Mullah is bad.

Data Ganj Bakhsh [ Ali Hajweri] of Lahore was not only one of the greatest Sufis of Punjab, but he was also a Hanafi Islamic Jurist par excellence [ or a Mullah ]. He had a full beard, an amama, and followed the Sunnah of our Prophet salallaho alaihi wa sallam to perfection

Under such circumstances, these open rallies are simply unpardonable. Can you imagine an al qaeda rally in USA after 9/11, or a lashkar-e-tayyiba rally in India after 26/11? yes, you are right. However, to balance the equation, there are Shia terrorist groups in Pakistan that too openly hold rallies defying the government. So, its more than what Indians think.

It shouldn't. Our security forces will not turn a blind eye to activities like this. Only by the willful negligence and connivance of the authorities can such things happen.
