Here in China many people say that the biggest mistake Hong kong protestors made is getting 1.4 billion Chinese population hate them, and the Chinese general public's opinion is the only hope for the Hong kong protest, more an more Chinese now are joinning hands and demand government action, the government can't hold this sentiment down for too long.

China has a long history (ancient, past and present) of killing its own people. From the people buried underneath the Great Wall of China to Uyghurs and now HK'ers.

Police are also injured, and the conflicts now are between Hong kong police and Hong kong protestors, if the Chinese government gets involved , it would've been solved long time ago, The Chinese government isn't involved a finger, for now.

I know the place well, it's around half and half. As for flags from other countries, have you actually been watching any of the footage?

If Kashmiris can use Pakistani flags then you should have no problem with HK'ers using UK flags.

I'm sure the US flag is there to show freedom of speech and such.

Never said it made it right. I do believe roiting is a a bit excessive but there's nothing wrong with exercising your freedoms, like that of protest.
