What's new

Sharif rakes up Kashmir, hails Burhan Wani as 'young leader' !!!!

We will not be moving our forces back , becasue Azad Kashmir has no "Movement for freedom happening" if that is what you are referring to

The conflict is in Jamu & Kashmir , people in Azad Khasmir are enjoying life
Well you are the one who asked UN for referendum and they gave you a set of rules if you can't follow them then it is not up to India. It is your own fault for disallowing the Kashmiri people their right.

.
Guy had a gun and used it thats a fact, oppression/resistance...etc are opinions/views.

1. Do we know he used his gun? According to Indian media, he was nothing more than a social media hero for Kashmiri youth. Figureheads don't typically get involved in fighting.
2. The world isn't black and white and governed by facts. Forget what your instructors taught you in your engineering college. The world is grey and is built on top of opinions/views supplemented by facts.

. .
He also talked about unacceptable preconditions set by India for dialogue. Master stroke.

.
Moving forces to its initial positions in Pakistan and Indian side of Kashmir is one of the clause and not the main clause in UN resolution, also it calls for meeting and things done with mutual consultations. But India is not willing to start any dialogue on Kashmir, constantly coming up with 'integral part' rhetoric, the whole world knew it is false claims by India...the most important and final clause is Plebiscite. More details in the attached link.

B – Plebiscite
6. THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SHOULD UNDERTAKE TO ENSURE THAT THE GOVERNMENT OF THE STATE INVITE THE MAJOR POLITICAL GROUPS TO DESIGNATE RESPONSIBLE REPRESENTATIVES TO SHARE EQUITABLY AND FULLY IN THE CONDUCT OF THE ADMINISTRATION AT THE MINISTERIAL LEVEL, WHILE THE PLEBISCITE IS BEING PREPARED AND CARRIED OUT.
7. THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SHOULD UNDERTAKE THAT THERE WILL BE ESTABLISHED IN JAMMU AND KASHMIR, A PLEBISCITE ADMINISTRATION TO HOLD A PLEBISCITE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ON THE QUESTION OF THE ACCESSION OF THE STATE TO INDIA OR PAKISTAN.
8. THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SHOULD UNDERTAKE THAT THERE WILL HE DELEGATED BY THE STATE TO THE PLEBISCITE ADMINISTRATION SUCH POWERS AS THE LATTER CONSIDERS NECESSARY FOR HOLDING A FAIR AND IMPARTIAL PLEBISCITE, INCLUDING, FOR THAT PURPOSE ONLY, THE DIRECTION AND SUPERVISION OF THE STATE FORCES AND POLICE.
9. THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SHOULD, AT THE REQUEST OF THE PLEBISCITE ADMINISTRATION, MAKE AVAILABLE FROM THE INDIAN FORCES SUCH ASSISTANCE AS THE PLEBISCITE ADMINISTRATION MAY REQUIRE FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF ITS FUNCTIONS.

Look buddy I have seen this drama bazi since I was a kid , people approaching india and India refusing to grant visa or entry to UN for doing their job in Kashmir. Nations approaching and getting rebuked

UN is a peaceful body they have no military

Why do we need to move our forces back ? UN can come to Kashmir (Jamu & Kashmir) in international airport or come to Islamabad and Travel by bus to Kashmir to start process?

  • Azad Khshmir (Pakistan Side = No political movement )
  • Kashmir (China side = No issue)
  • India (Jammu * Kashmir) PROBLEM HI PROBLEM

We know the problem

> People need to vote (There is no randi rona) about formalities
> Are UN observers not used to being in places where there is military around ?

It is a simple 2-3 Day job for UN observers to go run the election and then off you go

UN body's job is go there setup voting booth , and then collect vote and then depart and give finding to both Pakistan/India

When India - Pakistan (East/West) were formed , there was also a military (British Troops)
Were they there or not ? Yes they were there

There was a middle party ? Troops from England no one had any problem with sitting down

The answer is quite simple and chasing shadows is what has costed 70 years for this issue

We don't appreciate abuse on civilians

That doesn't concern us if you want a referendum per UN then first comply with the condition set by UN. Until then there is nothing we can do.

Since we all know that the US controls much of he UN, The situation might just get worst now that India will have the US on its side..
The US won't mind a proxy with such numbers to fight its wars , be it against China or others in the region, it will be all to the benefit of the US, i.e; any big economies that weaken, will make The US stronger and more powerful economically, all it has to do for that is to provide some weapons to one party -obviously the one on its side-... Just remember their motto:
"you're either with us or you're against us", that does not leave room to others interests, since they have to be the same as the US ones!
Fro this perspective Kashmir issue will stay but a "Dossier" in the UN and the suffering of Kashmiris will go on for another 70 years or more! The same goes with the Palestinian issue...This is the law of the jungle prevailing, the only consolation there is is that it goes in cycles in nature..

When oppression becomes norms, resistance becomes duty....;)

Nailed it

If he wasnt a leader then entire kashmir wouldnt be in chaos for past 2 and 1/2 months. People adored him and he was a social icon of resistance against indian occupation. Burhan wani with his death ignited a flame which was almost extinguished so indians should curse themselves for shortsightedness not Burhan or Pakistan.

Already complied , UN is invited to land in Jammu and Kashmir

Do you even know the UN Plebiscite clause? Pakistan must first remove all is personal from its occupied territories for the plebiscite process to begin. You haven't even done that for the past 60 yrs so spare us the this entire delay BS.

I believe it is well documented many nations have offered to be middle person to run the election however India has refused it across the years

Once again India set to refuse the UN pannel to enter to observe the issue

India prevents Kashmiris to travel to UN
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/09/16/world/asia/india-kashmir-khurram-parvez-jkccs.html?_r=0
Why should India allow anyone in its territory, if you want election, first follow the rules set by UN otherwise you guys are preventing Kashmiri from exercising the right given to them by UN.

.
It is not your territory

It was a independent state, and people have been attempting to live India and india is doing human rights violations against the people
