Senior Chinese official emphasizes partnership with Vietnam

It gets more funny how french and american brought major and largest destruction to vietnam while vietnamese glorifies and praise those amreekez here and there from Forums to their tourists.

As times change, old enemies become new friends

Do you not remember once Pakistan approached India for a joint military union to address the Chinese threat, while today you collude with China.

Use your brain! Is Pakistan slave to China and America?

Vietnam had seen in the long history numerous enemies (Laos, Cambodia, Khmer, Champa, Siam, Mongolia, ancient and communism China, France, America, Japan, England; and not to forget the countries that sent troops to the battle fields in VN, including Germany, S. Korea, India, Pakistan, Thailand, Philippines, etc..). Do I forget any country? So if we rejected to make peace with former enemies, what country is left?

The Samoa island?

India sent troops to Vietnam? not to my knowledge

...I forgot to add Australia and New Zealand into the list of former enemies.

You asked why Vietnam is wary of China? Well, unlike all other former opponents, China continues a policy of intimidation, bullying and containing of Vietnam. Actually thing has not changed much since Vietnam became independent. You can appeal the Chinese to be more friendly to us.

But anyway the current Vietnam policy is friendly to China. In real life, only few notices the actual conflict. More than a million of Chinese visits Vietnam every year, same number of Vietnamese travel to China.

China can help to ease the tension if it gives up the 9-dash-claim. Can Pakistan help?

90% people here are war mongers. look at this kid Psyops. For this reason only any government does not entertain or allow people to take an important seat in office because they do not have patience and mind is never stable since maturity lacks in them.

People seem to think diplomatic relations are black and white, this is the 21st century countries are intertwined with one another despite differences and disputes.

Take this for example, President Noynoy Aquino thanks China for funding water supply project | Sun.Star This was during july of last year, from what i recalled the stand off was still very serious during that time, Aquino could have used a minister to speak instead but he truly knows the degree of reliance his country still has on china, economical impacts are hard felt, words are useless. After listening to the rhetoric of some of the posters, such an event would have been unimaginable.

one more beautiful picture for the public...

lol totally agree. They are probably attention deficit in real life so they need say most outrageous things in forums in order to grab attentions from others. They are not representative of people in real life. Look at hatred manifested by some Vietnamese and also of course, Chinese here.

Very true. One of the Chinese President quoted, "It's better to have 'Good Neighbors', than FAR OFF Relatives"

It's just a political joke, it happened usually from time of Mao Zhedong and President Ho Chi Minh.
