All of the American government's military budget is towards either regime change operations or maintaining nuclear threat against Russia and China. Now this was probably a middle class person who found this non-free healthcare bill expensive. What if a homeless, penniless American were to suffer severe stomach pains ? From where would he or she come up with 17,000 dollars ? He or she would have to silently suffer by the roadside. But that pain wouldn't bother the White House which is spending 858 billions on weapons and war. I say that that civilization from Ceres should invade USA and do regime change. The poor, progressive, rational and technological advancement minded Americans will be emancipated.

It is very very good that you have free healthcare and that leads to the important question : Why do you support the American government's military machine which is protecting and imposing Capitalism where basic human needs and rights like housing, healthcare and education are not free and where the hospital extorts money from you to remove your illness and if you can't pay then you suffer on or die ?

I think China's military expenditure should be raised to the same defence bugdet/GDP ratio of the United States.
US 3.5%, China 1.18%
At least we should raise it to 2% of the demand of the United States for NATO, that is, $360 billion. If we raise it to the 3.5% level of the United States, it will reach 630 billion dollars，Now it's only 1.18%, $230 billion，Our military spending in 1979 was 5.5% of GDP，If we raise it to 5.5% now, it will reach $1 trillion. Of course, it is impossible now.

However, still hope that our military expenditure will reach 2% of GDP, $360 billion，the global average .

The US government should understand that America's greatest weapon is the American dream, not the military. If the US spent $500 billion a year on social welfare to improve education, health care, housing, social security, the US would still have the highest military expenditure of any country, but also the most attractive country.

Right now the US is just the biggest military spending country.

I never understood why Americans have no free health care. Or at least why do you have this expensive health care system.

American don't have free health care because they have a Health Insurance system that works.

I live in both US and Australia, US does not have universal health care, Australia does, but if I works in US (not paid under the table) then I will have access to free insurance. Which is cheaper than when I use Medicare in Australia if I require a long stay in Hospital. Sure doctor visit is bulk billed (mean it is free) in Australia but if I have to buy medicine or stay in a hospital or go into a specialist, this would still cost me 1000s of dollars in Australia unless I have the all coveted blue card, but in American, all I need is to pay $650 Co-payment and I can get all the medicine I want and stay in Hospital how ever long I wanted.
