I know most people will think I'm exaggerating (like I usually do), but the fact is, this is one of the most important books ever written. I would be glad if others understood it's value the way I have come to. It changed my life. How I hope others could benefit from it the way I did. I owe my entire life and success to its principles. You ought to read and live this book man- this is just a booklet actually. the day I read it, my life changed. I was in touch with the author. nothing will please me more than others seeing the kinds of benefits I did (Failure to Fortune 10 executive- imagine that!)

Hey dude, my copy just arrived today. It really is just a booklet!

Its second hand, new copies are charging exorbitant prices because its out since the 1970s.

I have just reached the big 30 this year and need a fresh burst of energy to face whats coming. Marriage, new career and also to 'de age' myself by staying younger (if that makes any sense).

I have also made a booking for a 10 day retreat at Vipassana in the mountains near Sydney. New beginnings awaits!

most males in the world presently don't know how to dress, groom and speak... my tips to be a gentleman...

- t-shirts should never be worn on the outside... t-shirts ( like jockey ) should always be worn under the shirt.
- grow hair and comb neatly.
- never talk fast... you will be perceived as cunning.
- never use f-words... you will not be seen as gentlemanly.
- never ride a motorcycle ( especially in india )... you will always remain in middle class poverty.
- money is facility, not necessity... those who save money will remain poor.
- never be constantly on the cell phone... you will look ordinary and silly.
- arrange gatherings for discussions and talk for hours over tea... you and your friends will improve your social standing.
- be flirty with the ladies... but never talk like a college boy... be like a real man... mature.
- never play video games... if you like fighting, join a socialist group... or go to syria and fight alongside the syrian military.
- never talk like a goon, especially when in a group.
- never wear flashy clothes or flashy watches... never wear pants which are orange or green or red... looks stupid...
- never keep twenty credit cards... keep one atm card and some cash.
- never be seen in cafes which are frequented by college boys... go drink tea in mature places, even if they are expensive.
- don't be brain-washed by mainstream media... socialism is good, become a socialist.
- never be in jobs... resign from job and start business.
- be confident in starting conversation with strangers... and smile.

one can have a trimmed pencil moustache too... i used to have one... looked quite good on me but it needed very regular maintainance... below is british actor, david niven, with pencil moustache...

though some look good with a thick moustache... not the silly walrus or the ridiculous handle-bar, but just thick and neatly cut... like the young jinnah below...

i now look like young jinnah but with a side hair-parting, and hair trimmed to the skin behind the ears and on the neck... proper 1930's hair cut...

Almost there but I would want to edit a few points...like
-getting FLIRTY with ladies is a strict NO-NO. Guys look and sound better when they talk sense.
- hygiene...uff most guys lack this. From keeping a clean hair cut (I dont mind spiked up hairs or not...geled or not but it should be well kept) to cutting nails, hygiene is a must.
- habit of using perfumes and deos r good but pls use something which is mild.Recently when a guy entered the elevator, I sneezed atleast twice,thanks to his very strong perfume.
- Shoes....guys who wear ugly shoes are just as ugly. I think one should never try to save money while buying a pair of shoes or sandals in a gal's case. Lol.

flirting works for me... maybe because i am in mid-30's and confident... and i have deep voice, so maybe that helps... other things also, i suppose...

spiky hair generally denotes a follower of fashion rather than someone with style... someone in 20's and brash... so if i don't know such a person i don't know if i can have confidence in such a person.

thanks for reminding the perfume part... yes, very strong perfume is off-putting... there's no point in giving someone a headache... and i don't like the modern deo things... i use the natural ittar ( attar ), specifically rose/jasmine mix... subtle and classy.

absolutely... for males, decent sober shoes denote the person being a sober person, not given to latest fads... for a lady, i hate ladies being in high heels... i find that very irritating.

Well heels look good with chudidar suits, sarees, jump suits etc.It would look really funny if someone wears platforms with chudidar or jump suits.
But if the gal doesnt know how to walk properly in high heels then its not recommended at all.
I think I am digressing this thread now...
