It is unfortunate the word Secular has become synonymous to an abuse.I know that the term secularism was misused and abused by Mulayams, mamtas and Congress.But it doesn't mean we should convert it to "Sickularism" "left liberal elitism" . India is a secular plural democracy which is its greatest strength but these kind of titles to a news or "Love Jihad" type bullshit sometimes makes me worried about future of our tolerant and progressive society.

Hinduism has survived for so long because the greatest strengths of Hinduism is tolerance towards other religions . it has always let other religions go on with their belief systems. It has even tried to co-opt religious and spiritual leaders into its own traditions. Every Religion should learn from this great capacity of Hinduism but when i see these kind of titles of thread i feel that Hinduism and more importantly India is loosing its greatest strength.

BTW the way Modi is taking everyone head on, I can see Mamta trembling in her boots ( or, chappals )... Abhi 2 saal hai. Bengal mein bahut kuch ho sakta hai..

@JanjaWeed @ranjeet the reason i m so confident is of the reason of the TRENDS in recent elections (since 2009 atleast), where single largest parties in poll predictions turns out to be in complete majority since no one wants a HUNG ASSEMBLY

Bhai i just hope that BJP comes to power in the next 2016 state election of Bengal.Only BJP can save my state now,if God forbid AITMC again returns to the power then it will be practically all over for W.B.

My assumption was based on that not a single big leader comes from haryana state BJP except Capt Abhimanyu and Sushma. In Maha they have Gadkari. and late Munde. They lack a serious big name from here. There are totally banking on Modi and Amit shah.

So now she started referring to Congressi's families all over India as the whole Indian society. Height of stupidity!! But in anycase If we take the real societies opinion into consideration than we will easily know how much is she and her dumb son is hated across India. Apart from congress men, seculars from certain states are the only ones to love the two gandhian as of today.

No I don't think so. I think it would be easy for INLD to make it this time. BJP can do good but wont be able to make government of its own.

Well unfortunately the so called secular parties abused this the word secular so much that it became synonym with appeasement. We are just calling their bluff. Although I do share your concern about things getting out of hand but unfortunately no opposition party is taking on BJP on serious issues except the secular thing. Things are in automation right now, the more people would highlight the "secular fabric is in danger" more people would be pissed off and support BJP.

It's a bit dicey in Haryana, if Chautalas bail is cancelled tomorrow just on the eve of elections it would benefit him a bit.

You are over estimating JATs' love for Choutala and underestimating Non-Jat's hate for him. Even some Jat friends of mine are not voting for him because of Gundagardi during his last term.

i think a little more and BJP should be able to form government almost on their own with support from independents. A lot of Rallies are going on and the support for BJP on ts own is quite huge.
Not sue how things might pan after elections, but NCP may want to tilt towards BJP.
