well said, Russia doesnt understands that the West/U.S still has the upper hand on the world. Though i applaud Putin's toughness, you have to know when/how to fight your battles at times, bit your time until when you are stronger before going on for a head on challenge with a bigger/more powerful opponent.

no, since asian airlines are smart and know that this will not happen. Putin would kill himself with that. The EU would ban entire Aeroflot from landing and crossing its airspace. With that, russia cant reach north america anymore. EU would also ban to care for aeroflotd airbus fleet. Since usA would most likely follow, aeroflot can say good bye to their boeingd as well. So that would mean good bye airplanes in general in russia.
