In any case, Israel doesn't qualify as a UNSC permanent member in present structure of UN. But they have many notable contributions in science & technology, that other ME countries don't have.

On the basis that the Arab region is the most paralyzed spot in the world where the UN double standers and the constant use of the Veto that only been used against Arabs since the UN establishment contributed more to this turmoil. Take two things example;

2-Syira crisis vetoed against by China once and Russia twice

This has nothing to do with muslims again its all about the Arab league. Arab countries are mixed of different religions and ethnicities.

But it is only fair if ASEAN, SAARC, SCO & other such Organizations that represent the collective ambitions of a cluster of nation states should get a permanent seat on the UNSC as well !

(i) The population that lives in those 22 countries is less than half the combined population that lives in Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan & Bangladesh !

(ii) That combined GDP that you've stated is less than the combined GDPs of Indonesia, Turkey, Malaysia, Pakistan & Iran ! Heck if you add our BLACK MARKET to the list our GDP alone would be nearly half the GDP of the entire GCC combined !

In fact forget about us that 1.8 trillion figure of 22 countries is less than the sole figures of UK, Russia & a little more than the figures of Mexico !

Why do you pick random countries and involve them with you? Man, religion doesn't gather countries, you can't join the UN because you just have the same religion, otherwise, Buddi and Christians can do the same. It doesn't make sense actually.
