Its Laser Guided variant (with increased range etc) is also in service.

We need an IR guided ATGM for ourselves. If there are no sales there would be no revenue. If we get a substantial order to sale G-3M rifles, we can channel some of that cash to sign a contract to produce FN-SCAR L/H under license for replacing our woodstock and G-3A3/4 rifles. Its all about money and money comes from selling weapons. Learn from the Israelis.

Well , that is your personal opinion and you are free to have one , still your denial wont change anything dear !!

Sirji, states take decisions according to their interests, geopolitical, strategic, economic and military. There is no such thing as a good or bad in this world. They are meaningless emotionally charged terms meant for stupid people to believe in. No state takes sides according to their Fiqa but their interests. Do you think that Iranians support Shiite terrorist groups all over the middle east for the sake of Shia Islam? - No, they do it to further Iran's footing as a nation state. This is exactly what the GCC is doing too.

That is exactly what I am saying . Supporting KSA against Iran is not going to benefit us in the long run !! Any support for FSA would be against our national interests . I disagree with rest of your post though . Sectarianism has played a very significant role in political history of Islam , and it is not irrelevant even today .

Pakistan has picked the right side of history. Thats what matters. We stand with the Syrian people who are our brothers in faith not with a mass murderer.
We r again not learning from our history are we?
We should not play any role in the region which is negative just for piggy bags from Arabs like before who will again ditch us like in history. We were actually supporting Saudis in the hope that they may buy JFT or AK series. And join in the projects for future but if they just need these small little things from us then we should stop at once.

All Mighty is already punishing us of what we did and by doing that our people will suffer even more. Remember that in Syria The Syrian Government will win no matter what. These terrorists if they win will be directed to us in future by these same Arabs in Baluchistan and KP as we all know they r funding BLA terrorists and if Pak started mass removal of them then the world powers will surely use them and their help in Baluchistan.

You actually agree with me. I just implied that the power elite has always managed to use the so called fiqas as a tool for gaining political mileage. Just because we are selling weapons doesn't mean that we are taking sides. We are on our own side. If we don't take that money, there are other suppliers too.

The other side doesn't offer us financial benefits.

Common sir we r the nation who has survived worst of worst times and u r buying a few millions for just Anza and Baktar Shikan to save us??? If saudis were really interested in JFt or AK series and would have agreed to invest in project then this money benefit would have been in Billions. But just piggy bags of some millions for just small arms is not a really profitable solution is it?

And what abt their later use by world powers in Baluchistan through these Arabs?

Sir i have always respected yr thoughts but here u r just being very desperate and immature.

Half the world is supplying one party or another in the Syrian conflict directly or indirectly. If Pakistan says no there are plenty of other weapon sellers who will be more than happy to supply KSA who will give it to the Syrians.
Here Pakistan has an opportunity to showcase its weaponry to the world, and make some bucks at the same time.

Iran never had any qualms about arming Northern Alliance and supporting Indian Interests in the region. Therefore Pakistan shouldn't be worried about Iranian reaction either.

We r again going to make a significant strategic blunder. And this will cost us even direly as this will not put us in good terms with our regional allies as well specially China and Russia!

The Syrian Army is going to win the conflict no matter what, After all they r a standing army and trained to do the job. They our gun the terrorists in numbers, supplies, training and in operation military roles on grounds. Further more they have almost everything coming from Iran that they r asking for in Arms, ammunition etc etc. They can not be realistically defeated by these rag tags civilian fighters who lack in numbers, training and professionalism to realistically take out an army.
The nearest example to this comes from the WW2 where British won against mighty Germans through endless supply from Americans same way Iranis r supporting them.

To hope the Syrian Armed forces can be defeated realistically from these rebels is just stupid and unrealistic anyways.

Here it would mean that !! it would mean that we took the side of Sunni KSA & FSA against Shia Iran !! for the dumb masses (as you said) at least . What about the Pakistani Shia who make up around 25 % of our total population ?? You want to burn down your own house for some Riyals ??

Small deals, lead to big deals.

It might be pure business but we are still indirectly getting involved in a conflict which isn't an shouldn't be our business.

All arms suppliers do that. Its Nothing but a trade strategy. If we were crying in the UN or sending soldiers to fight with FSA then i'd agree with you. We need to maintain non interventionism to an extent where it brings us financial benefits.

Thats why the arms need to be paid for through secret wires and shipped in the middle of the night. Pakistani Shia's are not going Bezerk just because Pakistan sold arms to the Saudis.

Saudis r no alien to our products anyways nor r srilankans or bangladeshis but what have they brought from us in a long run?

Srilankans after beating Tamils even ditched us on AK series and JFTs and Al Sauds well u know better.

A visit to Riyadh earlier this month by Pakistan’s army chief of staff, General Raheel Sharif, who met Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz. Prince Salman himself last week led a large delegation to Pakistan, shortly after Saudi’s chief diplomat Prince Saud Al Faisal visited the kingdom’s key ally. Saudi sources telling that Saudi Arabia is in talks with Pakistan to provide anti-aircraft and anti-tank rockets to Syrian rebels to try to tip the balance in the war to overthrow President Bashar Al Assad, and this is being published in leading newspapers and you talk about secrecy ??? :disagree::disagree:

The "dumb masses" are really not that dumb bhai !!

We are still selling armament to Sri Lankans, negotiating for a batch of JF-17s.

KSA never wanted JF-17, they were just using it as a scare tactic to make EDAS drop price on the Typhoons so they could buy 72 more of them. I knew it from the beginning.

So that it sounds more like a conspiracy!

What explanation would you put forth when large number of Anza's and Bakhtar sikhan are used/captured in Syria? That Talibs stole them and sold to FSA.
