They think they have the best weapons but the capability to use those weapons at their full potential by themselves is just not there!

They will never be able to threaten the U.S. because they wouldn't be able to maintain their military without them! Plus after what happened with Iran in 1979 I bet the U.S. has at the least GPS embedded & hidden in the Air Frame & at the worst self destruct explosives imbedded in the airframe of all Saudi Fighters without them knowing it! As for the F-35 since Israel was involved in the development of the F-35 I think their insistence on using many of their own weapon system and computer hardware and software on the aircraft says a lot about what the Israeli's think about the current package on the F-35's plus more importantly Israel doesn't have to rely on anyone to put weapons on and build weapons around it's own F-35's which allows Israel to put weapons on the Aircraft at the fraction of what it would cost to buy them from the U.S. and if your forced to buy an Air Force that's how you do it!
