This is much bigger than just financing, Iran also got its first missiles from China and/or NK if you remember well..
If you read the articles you'll find some parts talking about Saudi indigenous missile technologies.. those outdated missiles were quite good for deterrence in the 80s, there were just 60 of them.. the Saudi missile force has some of the most modern Chinese BM as well as R&D in collaboration with many other nations..

Starting a program more than 20 years ago means that the dependency is very limited to the much sophisticated technologies of today BMs.. So no worry.. anyway this is good news for KSA.. I am also happy for Iran, in this way both have good deterrents that can prevent any conflict in the region.. hope you think the same..

Russia knows that the only way to get us out of NATO is us having our own nukes.

They would help us to produce our own nukes.

I mean, what would they lose? Either way Turkey would have nukes but in the current scenario USA controls the nukes in Turkey.

In the latter scenario Turkey would control the nukes in Turkey which is preferrable by Russians.

Turkey would also be out of NATO whoch is also desirable by Russians and Turkey could even give Russia straits guarantees and stop allowing US warships into the blacksea.
