What even angers me most is that all the western scientist efforts even benefit our lazy asses, while we go duuuhhhh accidents happen duuh. We don't do anything and still get the benefit.

For example, look at this hajj incident. It's now almost 5 days, and we still don't even know who died, how many died, from which countries, etc. Which makes me wonder, why don't the pilgrims carry some sort of IDs? It shouldn't even need to be physically carried, why not attach it to the clothe? Then each pilgrim can be tracked and if God forbid they die, they can instantly be identified and contacted the family. And if evil Iranian Africans don't follow instructions, they could easily be denied access if its not their designated times at the gates, or track them later on in case of incidents how they were at fault.

But of course nothing will happen, as long as we people say things like, "What are you suggesting?? You can't control destiny! Accidents happen! Its God's will! Also, they will go to heaven hoooray!"

The Iranian revolution was a necessary evil. You don't go from a medieval mentality to modernity in one jump. Sorry, but a price has to be paid. We had been trying for about a century before the revolution. But you can't move forward without addressing something as fundamental as the role of Islam in a muslim society. And that's what's taking place right now.

How can anyone point fingers at Sauds when it's a wildly popular wish among muslims to die in Saudia. I've read several posts here in the Stampede th thread where senior members posted things like, they would feel honored have died while performing hajj.

At this rate, if KSA starts promoting hajj with the advertisement tag line, "perform your holy pilgrimage and we'll guarantee your death while performing hajj" the I'm afraid number of people applying for hajj will increase by ten folds.

I strongly doubt it. Khomeini put a lot of priority on Muslim unity and I don't think he would call Omar and Any Bakr idols. I've heard so many misquotes about Khomeini all my life but when you read about him from actual sources and actual statements, it is completely different than what you have in your mind.

This is one of his statement on Muslim unity,
