Saudi Income From Hajj

Traffic accidents happen even in most technological country in world let alone Saudia

YES TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS HAPPEN BUT SMART PEOPLE STUDY IT TO REDUCE IT! They invent and enforce seat belts, better car standards, study traffic rules, study impact on fines, study car security, and million others things, while moronic, backward people sitting on their asses benefit from the efforts of others and go, "duhhh traffic accidents happen nothing you can".

Seriously, sometimes I feel like crying for how utterly useless some mentality is.

If everyone was like you, we'd be driving unsafe car in dangerous roads, with our children constantly being thrown in the middle of the road, while you go, "God;s will, accidents happen"

People like you take the benefits of the people who don't think like that but refuse to put any effort yourself.

There seems to be a train of thought among some Muslims that the Saudis are just the reluctant organizers of hajj, graciously taking on the responsibility due to their strong moral fiber and out of the goodness of their hearts. Therefore, they find it inappropriate to criticize Saudi incompetence and utter disregard for the lives of pilgrims, despite repeated tragedies and the high cost in human life.

Well the truth is that Hajj is big business. And the Saudis are the almost singular beneficiary of it. This year the Saudis stand to make a cool $8.5 BILLION for the few days of the Hajj event, alone. Add to that the Omrah pilgrims and Saudi Arabia rakes in tens of BILLIONs of $ from the pilgrimage industry every year.

People from poor South asian and African countries sometimes save up for years to be able to afford this trip. Is it too much to expect the Saudi beneficiaries of their hard earned money to prevent these pilgrims to be killed in their hundreds, once every few years?

Yes, your right there. Saudi's make more money out of the holy places then Pakistan does through all the international trade and exports. Many people don't know this but before oil this was the main income of the Saudi monarchy.

@AZADPAKISTAN2009 Did you know that after every serious RTA ( road traffic accident ) in UK that special unit of traffic police carry out a intense investigation and then prepare detailed summary which is forwarded to TRL ( Road Traffic Research Laborotary ) which then collate that information. The collective informative gathered over years is continously used to draw lessons and improve road safety. Nobody at TRL says "shit happens". The result of this continuous process of refinement is UK has some of the safest roads in the world.

And trust me Saudi's make far money then they spend on the infrastructure. This is big business.

you're not ashamed of such comment?
and you think their families wanted it too ?

You misunderstood me. They are martyrs, and isnt that the goal of almost every muslim?

The goal of every muslim is to get killed? No I'm sorry that's news to me. Why live at all if your goal is to wantonly through your life away? No, I'm afraid your definition of martyrdom is very different than mine.

What even angers me most is that all the western scientist efforts even benefit our lazy asses, while we go duuuhhhh accidents happen duuh. We don't do anything and still get the benefit.

For example, look at this hajj incident. It's now almost 5 days, and we still don't even know who died, how many died, from which countries, etc. Which makes me wonder, why don't the pilgrims carry some sort of IDs? It shouldn't even need to be physically carried, why not attach it to the clothe? Then each pilgrim can be tracked and if God forbid they die, they can instantly be identified and contacted the family. And if evil Iranian Africans don't follow instructions, they could easily be denied access if its not their designated times at the gates, or track them later on in case of incidents how they were at fault.

But of course nothing will happen, as long as we people say things like, "What are you suggesting?? You can't control destiny! Accidents happen! Its God's will! Also, they will go to heaven hoooray!"

It would nice if they advertized it as such.... straight to Janna after hajj... part of the extra Saudi hospitality.... with the adjusted price of course....

Maybe it should be converted to something like the old game, Crystal Maze, but in this one, the traps are actually real.

What are you trying to say Farsi? That ancient Hijazi/Arabian cities like Makkah and Madinah should be handed over to foreigners like you Farsis that have absolutely nothing to do with those cities?

Allah (swt) bestowed this honor open us and we locals have been running the show and taking care of pilgrims from the entire world for 1400 years in a row. In fact Makkah has been a pilgrimage site since the time of Ibrahim (as) over 4000 years ago.

What did you expect? That Papua New Guinea and Papuans were making profit?

It is only logical that KSA earns from Hajj and Umrah. All the expenses are also entirely paid by KSA. Surprise, surprise.

Care to tell me how much Iran earns from Shia pilgrims from across the world (mostly Arab world and Pakistan) visiting the tombs of long-dead Hijazi Arabs in places like Qom and Mashhad?

Yeah, "every" year. There have been no deadly accidents for 9 years in a row until your Farsi compatriots caused another disturbance in a long list of disturbances during Hajj spanning decades.

From deadly riots, killing fellow pilgrims, security, volunteers and for turning Hajj into a mockery by your idiotic protests that NO other nationality of pilgrims have ever engaged in.

But what to expect when your founding father enriched us with statements like this:

"The Islamic and non-Islamic powers of the world will not admit our power till such time that we establish our hold over Makkah and Madinah because these are the centers and citadels of Islam. Hence our domination over these places Is an essential requirement ... when as a conqueror I will enter Makkah and Madinah, the first thing to be done at that time by me would be to dig out two idols (Abu Bakr and Umar) lying by the side of the Prophet's grave."

Let me remind you of the fact that there are 1.7 billion Muslims. You not taking part in Hajj is no lose for anybody but yourself and nobody forces you to embark upon such journeys.

Congratulations for making your thread but I am afraid that you cannot do anything but cry. Now go back crying about this incident being "deliberate".

P.S. My country should not host enemies of my country and people (Arabs) to begin with so if I had any power you would be banned from entering KSA and any Saudi Arabian citizen stupid enough to attempt to visit Iran would be denied that right as well. We want nothing to do with you and your meddling in the Arab world will be removed as well eventually.
