Remind me Fawad Chaudry joke , when Saleem Safi asked, what happened to 200 arab dollar mantra sing by PTI before election, Fawad smile , yes we complete the promise, next week 200 arabs are coming Pakistan. ( Saudi King entourage has 200 people)
Yes, all unconditional investment is welcome in Pakistan."Arab" (amount in Billions) and "Arab" the people from the Middle East. Nice pun!
PS. When the rubber hit the road, it's the Arabs who are helping Pakistan--to the shame of some PDF Pakistanis who had been unnecessarily ridiculing hundreds of millions of Arabs because of a few monarchs. Yes, there's money to be made by them but they could invest elsewhere. NEVER underestimate historic, religious, personal and ethnic links in international relations.
there is nothing unconditional in this world my friend. most likely after this visit we will see pak soldiers fighting in yemen . it s a moment of shame for us that we are now begging from other friendly countries. i dont think we will earn any respect by walking this line but right now we dont have a choice. the other question that comes to mind is that what will be the impact of this visit on life of a common man? i dont think there will be much positive impact. just like CPEC . the whole nation was shown great images but we the nation actually got increase in cost of gas , electricity and every other thing. dollar went up to 140. most likely this visit is just a CPR for a dying economy.Yes, all unconditional investment is welcome in Pakistan.
Pakistan striving hard to get few billion investment. In one single shot , India is getting 44 billion dollar contract with Saudi Aramco, plus India will ask KSA to reduce oil prices. It means we are not good negotiators. India has double the labor and 2x double investment from KSA in India. Unfortunately , we don't have cool heads to analyze the situation and national and rational economic deals around us. We are somehow very emotional.there is nothing unconditional in this world my friend. most likely after this visit we will see pak soldiers fighting in yemen . it s a moment of shame for us that we are now begging from other friendly countries. i dont think we will earn any respect by walking this line but right now we dont have a choice. the other question that comes to mind is that what will be the impact of this visit on life of a common man? i dont think there will be much positive impact. just like CPEC . the whole nation was shown great images but we the nation actually got increase in cost of gas , electricity and every other thing. dollar went up to 140. most likely this visit is just a CPR for a dying economy.
you are right but the real problem is that we are one of the most corrupt nations in the world.secondly we have got a long list of enemies who are economically far more powerful then us and they are working against us through fifth gen warfare launching multi pronged attacks on already weakened nation. i dont think india and saudia have so many powerful enemies. india's only enemy is pak which is poorer in all aspects and doesnt have enough fund to finance a fifth gen war against them . saudia has one enemy and that is iran which is also economically weaker and face frequent sanctions so it is also not a strong candidate to fight modern fifth gen war against saudia. saudia is israeli and US puppet so they support saudia militarily. the day saudia steps out of zionists camp saudia will witness civil warfare and complete chaos.Pakistan striving hard to get few billion investment.
