Mubarak also started Egypt Nuclear Program he knew if Iran got the Bomb Egypt needed one it's the only policy of his I agree with.
Jordan also started a Nuclear Program.

Both Egypt and Jordan have started Nuclear Programs, I support a Nuclear Iran even if Iran gets Nuclear Weapons however I want other countries to get one as well. the basis Iran got a Nuclear Weapon.

Egypt had a nuclear program under Nasser, but it got shelved and most Egyptian nuclear scientists ended up working in Iraq or the West (and probably Saudi Arabia). I also read that there was a covert program to develop technology under Mubarak, but US had some reservations, not sure how far it got. So, it is not clear how much of a real effort has been made by Egypt in recent years, to me. My assumption is that Mubarak did not dare go far, to appease Americans.

As for Jordan, it is a small country with limited resources. I doubt they can do anything on their own, maybe they can contribute a few scientists to Egypt or SA.

If you have more information that shows, for example, that Egypt has made serious advances in this area, please post it. It would be nice to hear that.

Jordan is currently working on theres there want build it within the 2014-2020 time frame, however the current leadership is fearful of Iran getting a bomb so they would likely speed it up. As for Egypt the program is somewhat covert, Mubarak speed it up there were rumors they had deals with Russia on it I will post some more info later.

OK, but it says 2020 target date for completion of nuclear reactor. The spent fuel from a nuclear reactor can be used to make a bomb, that is if you steal it and break with NPT, otherwise you have to enrich uranium, or build your own reactor with your own fuel that will give you plutonium that you do not have to return to the country that gave you the tech. For example, Iran cannot use the spent fuel from its Russian built reactor, they are obligated to return all of it to Russia, so it can't be used to make a bomb.
