Maybe, maybe not, but majority of remittences are from blue collar/Professional workers, and yes, if they leave it will hurt Pakistan, but it will also hurt Saudi too.
Anyway, we digress. I hope we pay back all Saudi/UAE money, then of course send our workers back. You will of than have two major regional rivals (one nuclear armed), and of course expect Pakistan to extend every courtesy to Qatar, Iran and Turkey.
Not a great diplomatic victory, and now US is slapping an embargo on you, options are running out fast.
In the meantime you will also need to find academy training for 60 Navy, 15 Air Force and 100 Army cadets you send to Pakistan military academies, and the 30-40 staff officers sent to Staff Colleges in Pakistan.
Then you can expect 2,000 off Pakistani troops to withdraw training roles in Saudi.
In the meantime Saudi cadets will be refused military training in Europe and US (US banned it due to NAS Penneascola shooting)
Now ask yourself, was it worth disrupting one of the strongest alliances in the Muslim world? For what gain?
MBS is a curse on Saudi
if you are arguing about MBS I won't be defending him. To say Pakistan is in a better position than Saudi Arabia is a stretch.
There is not much places for those Pakistani workers to go to
Qatar is no enemy of Saudi Arabia. They are another monarchy. As far as Iran goes it is an equal rival for Pakistan as much as Saudi Arabia. You have a vested interest in containing Iran.
