Saudi Apache crashes in Yemen.

Perfect precedent of having equipment but lacking essential fundamentals. Money can buy the latest weapons, but not success, motto of all Arab forces

lol go lash yourself

Sorry this isn't a saudi site, ISIS beliefs aren't tolerated here buddy.

if you zoom you can see a second projectile but the heli was already plummeting by then.

According to Yemeni report this is the third or fourth Apache lost in the war to date. RIP to the crew.

Op, do not put flaming comments.. and all off topic feel good posts will be deleted and the member banned from posting further in the thread.

It is likely the crew were caught and executed rather than died in the crash. The crash itself didn't seem very bad.

So was it actually shot down?

No, it was rotor failure brother. Confirmed. It was the first apache lost in 5 months of war. The Houthi terrorist cult is desperate since they have been losing territory at a rapid speed in recent weeks. Most of Yemen is controlled by the Arab coalition (KSA and UAE mainly), the Yemeni government and allied forces now. Not only that the kill ratio is at least 1:30 in favor of KSA and the Arab coalition.

The Houthi terrorist cult will be forced to sit on the negotiation table not long from now. It's just a matter of time.

So, losing one helicopter in a four months long war over mostly a technical failure is lacking essential fundamentals? Oh Mr. General, could you please educate us about any war or battle you have ever won in your history? Is there any? And please excuse my ignorance.

yep it was;better and longer vid.
Embedded media from this media site is no longer available

You something hit the apache and there is smoke from the explosion still there whilst the helicopter plummets. Furthermore at around :29-30 mark you can see a second SAM heading to the plume of smoke whilst the apache falls. Mechanical failure my A**. So quick to claim that when it usually takes a couple of days to confirm dead borderguards or incidents. After the shot down of the apache, saudis paratoopers carry out a special operation which no one else in the world media or locals are reporting. And a fellow saudi user gladly uploads the photos of the said secret operation on this thread. This pure psychological warfare...deny or try to rationalise loss and lie and create fake news to boost morale of saudis who believe word for word what their royals tell them.

Without a SAM I'd be hard pressed to believe the Apache was shot down, unless the pilots were extremely careless and put themselves within shooting distance of an RPG or AA guns.

The Taliban have had little success in shooting down Pakistan's old, worn and lightly armored Cobra's, so this would definitely be a surprise, without SAM's.

this is second apache loss bro, it was mangled so badly but the pilots survived but it wasn't reported by your kings. This one was clearly shot down.
