The ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Khartoum, Hassan bin Ali, disclosed the memorandums of cooperation that will be signed during the coming period in the defense and economic fields. He added that "Saudi Arabia stands with its heart with Sudan," stressing that it is today at the height of its era and development. During the meeting, the Ambassador praised the delegation of the Saudi-Sudanese Parliamentary Friendship Society, headed by Al-Khair Al-Nour Al-Mubarak, at the National Assembly, Tuesday, relations between Sudan and the Kingdom at the official and popular levels and described it as growing.
He said that his country is looking to develop its investments in Sudan without a ceiling for the volume of trade exchange between the two countries. He announced the entry of new Saudi companies and investors to invest in Sudan after lifting the US economic embargo on Khartoum last October.
He added:"The volume of trade exchange between the two countries is very large."
