what if one of the occupants of the car had been wearing a jacket and was ready to go to his version of paradise? how is a soldier to know? when they do take a risk like this and get blown to bits by the terrorist, then they are still blamed by the PDF morons for not being preemptive. looking at the bullet holes all over the car even near its petrol tank it appears that the firing team had no issue with accidentally detonating the explosives through their reckless firing or blowing up the car fuel tank
exactly for that reason they should have subdued the guy instead of opening fire on the entire family;y. at such close range they could see that their suspect was the driver and not wearing anything after killing him they sprayed the bullets on the entire family. the surviving 3 kids are lucky they didn't get sprayed like their elder sister and their parents

check out any hostage situation for example. the authorities dont complain or dwell on why the culprits are playing dirty. they accept it as a hazard and do everything in their power to neutralize the situation through force or negotiation.
it will be great if our policemen are trained by some veteran police negotiators and chiefs from big American cities here in Pakistan. I know that American police gets a lot of slack for being trigger happy but there are extremely good officers and negotiators that have neutralized the threat with minimum force and other less than lethal tactics

a former Punjab IG on a program was complaining that these CTD guys are too much trigger happy and they loose the vision that they are cops,, NOT soldiers and this is why he always objected to blanket fire training of his policemen by the army. he advocates professional training with restraint and control for these CTD officers to prevent such tragedies in future

Well “general population” raised the issue on social media so the government did her best to take necessary actions ASAP. This “general population” isn’t vacuous anymore. Everyone condemned the death of 3 innocent people.

the event happened 2-3 years, no one told us anything at that time.
Why when, the actions of CTD were exposed that the Govt finally realized that they need to give the population some important information. Suddenly social media is bombarded by "emotional" posts regarding various operations. It is simply a technique to make is "accept" the collateral damage.
But that is not a problem, the CTD officials were not going to be tried anyway. And now at this point, Allah is the only power who will judge them. They should at least fear His wrath .

First of all---Imran's govt is weak---IK himself is weak---. He should have threatened to charge the news media with sedition and anti state activity for lighting a fire strom---.

But, you happen to have escaped with this fate so can you please carefully shed some light on my following observations

• Warren Weinstein was kidnapped on August 13, 2011 .... when Hafeez should have been 23 years old
• Look at his images that are provided in this news article ..... does he look 31 years old to you?
• His CNIC image, his profile image clearly tell you that he had a very light mustache ... but the person wearing black clothes and a jacket shown with the city car has a dark mustache and is wearing glasses.
• Late Inspector Umar Mobeen shown while being executed doesn't at all match with his other photo
• The safe city cameras should (and they do) clearly show you who is sitting inside the vehicle .... at what speed the vehicle is moving, what is the registration plate of the vehicle.

A guy kidnaps a foreigner when he is 23 years old, kidnaps the son of a former PM in 2013 when is 25 years old .... and buys a alto car in 2018 when he is 31 years old ...... that is six years of our incompetence for you. And remaining ignorant of their activities during 6 years we all of sudden one day decided to just nab them in a hurry ...... killing two innocent adults, one teenage young child and traumatizing 3 minors ..... plus raising a fckstorm in the country. And we don't have the latest clear images of the alleged ISIS (ex AQ) operatives ... if I am to believe the events, information and photos mentioned in this article.

Edit: one or more of these guys may very well have been involved in an attack on Sri Lankan cricket team in 2009.

Sahiwal Incident: This post is for our followers who have maintained a narrative that why not just arrest Zeeshan – a known terrorist facilitator when Kulbushan & Ehsan Ullah Ahsan have been caught safely.

Attached below is a bodycam video of a drug bust by Local Police authorities in US. In video, Lt (a senior ranking officer) can be seen approaching the vehicle that has been stopped. Inside vehicle there are two undercover police officers who are part of the operation. As Lt. approaches the vehicle he sees a gun on one of the passengers in vehicle, making a split second decision he fires 7 shots out of .45cal handgun, hitting the target in chest and abdomen. It is to be noted that .45cal round at such close range is very lethal, Lt nearly killed his fellow officer in this operation because he mistook an officer for a drug dealer

Let’s go back a little bit in this story and replace the Narcotics dealer with a Terrorist, who not only have been involved in killing of Intelligence Official & Kidnapping the son of former PM but have boasted about carrying a Suicide attack. This changes the entire approach, you give that man a chance to put his hand in his pocket or his hand is out of your LOS (Line of Sight), you don’t know he is going to blow up the VBIED or not, he may have a pistol tucked under his seat or the side door, he can pull it out and retaliate. In operations like these you don’t enjoy the luxury of sitting back and negotiating with the terrorist, because for a split second you let that hand go out of your LOS and it will be a bloodbath, it will be you picking up pieces of your fellow officers who got caught in the blast radius.

In the world of Counter Terrorism one has to consider all factors, just because there are women onboard doesn’t mean the person gets a clean chit. There have been reported cases of women getting impressed and convinced through brainwashing that it was ‘OK’ for them to divorce their husbands and marry the mujahids of ISIS, give birth to child of a mujahid and return back with their child. In 2014 a Technical hub of AQ was busted in Lahore, a telephone exchange being run by a terrorist and his wife from their home on the outskirts of the city.

Terrorists have no religion, no sect, no gender. Their ultimate goal is to harm people one or the other way. On the unfortunate day of Sahiwal incident, terrorist chose to use women and children as human shields, the blood is on their hands. Demanding that CTD officials be hanged publically or punished because they were trigger happy is unjust. What we should demand is that more Oversight to be in place for their operations. The Training regime of 80s needs to be changed, CT forces across the country need to be trained on new tactics, instead of doing a summersault through a ring of fire, they need to be trained on carrying themselves out under stress & duress. We urge our followers to fight with us but not for hanging of the foot soldiers but FIGHT for REFORMS, better Training & more Oversight.
