SAAB AWACS Being Repaired at PAC

I have a feeling this image is going to be all over Indian media soon
And it is a 2 seater :D

It will only prove that the F-16 was NOT shot down.

. . . .
The underside looks new after repairs, however it was damaged during a bombing run on terrorists as one bomb prematurely exploded and more damage occurred during emergency landing.

BJP/RSS aw aw isko bhi copy karlo aur cheekhey maro k yehi wo pilot he aur ye ef soola he jisko abhi none done ne giraya tha

I think after this display of skills, one can understand why PAF is so confident about project Azm. May Allah bless all those who are part of team keeping our weapons ready and operational. They are playing a critical role perhaps more important than the actual soldiers in certain aspects.

Not sure if these have been posted before, exclusive images of the damaged SAAB Erieye going under repairs at Pakistan Aeronautical Complex.
According to the source, ''For the first time in history, Swedish SAAB AWACS were built from scratch by another country, even to the disbelief of SAAB itself...who had declared the project technically impossible. Now PAF is the only Air force in the world to have the certification to repair Swedish AWACS''.

If we can do this. Just imagine what the capabilities are. We just need the political will and the desire. We dont need the west

. .
We have so much talent in this country just no way to implement it

. .
They should take same measure to build damaged/destroyed PC3 from Mehran.

Navy at that time was full of Zardari appointed touts.
Bashir brothers hurt Pakistan like non another.

.
If this news about repair of Swedish AWACS is true, I am dumbfounded as to why this capability of these wonderful Engineers has not been expanded? First of all, they need to establish a small R&D and Learning and development academy inhouse. This will ensure that this knowledge is NOT lost but in fact passed onto to the new PAC engineers. As a second step, there needs to be a small production line established for the production of prototype AWACS. This will eventually lead to fully production of AWACS.

There should be NO excuses such as lack of funding because ventures like these can bring in Billions if executed successfully.
It was part of the reason why Project Azm was started (along with Aviation City as a whole).

This is all from a PTV interview a couple of years ago.

Basically, with Saab's help PAC built depot-level MRO capabilities for the Saab 2000 so that it could repair the 2 damaged aircraft. Those 'exclusive' images and all were all from the same PTV interview, of which you can find a detailed summary on Quwa (link) from Sept. 2017.

In addition to the MRO, PAC can also certify the aircraft.

But I would not go as far as saying, "For the first time in history, Swedish SAAB AWACS were built from scratch by another country, even to the disbelief of SAAB itself..." -- that's not even hyperbole, it's just false.

I've been saying it for years on PDF: Pakistan is FAR MORE technologically advanced than it publicly admits to. That has remained a fact for at least 40 years.
