And besides, I have not received any answer from you as to why India ever developed nuclear weapons in the first place? Many assume because of China. Would you be so kind as to correct those "kids"?

S 300 is not required in our hood. The Russian made 1950's junk misslies should be enough to fight intruding fighters , we sure don't want to over-kill now do we !

That was an example of a very lucky shot coupled with overconfidence of the F-117 pilot. Cold War era weapons aren't good enough for the most part

We already have ones better than those. Heard BAF is going to operate a pretty decent SAM system by 2012. A few more of those, coupled with AESA radar and replacements for the A-5 and F-7s in the future, all will be good

But the first thing we need to prioritize is the economy and government. A focus on HDI and poverty alleviation would be good. It is not as hard as it seems at first.

BD Air Def could also try for the cheaper Chinese version - HQ 9. Of course, appropriate and adequate radar is also important. In most cases BD Air Def will have less than 2 mins to react.

BD should prioritize economy, development, corruption at high levels and other important issues first. The MIGs would become outdated in about 15-20 at best years anyways. Who knows, maybe the F-35 would be offered to us. The USA denied F-16s for good reasons.
