In that case, you have to inspect the belt after every flight and replace it when necessary.

With satcom it and some added data-link capabilities it could work with several conventional Shahed-129 so that these would not need nearby ground control for data transmission. Take the weapons away to become lighter and use the SAR to find targets and send the armed hunter wingman S-129 to kill the target.

Question is which satcom network is used. The radome of the SAR seems to be a mock-up and not attached properly.

Here is a summery of different generations(or versions) of Shahed 129:

The first generation was the first prototype which was first seen in 2012, it had fixed landing gear and a more somple FLIR

The second generation was seen in 2013, it had retractable gears and featured a more advanced FLIR.

The third generation which is the mass produced one has a lighter FLIR and has a different nose compartment which allows it to be upgraded with SATCOM

The fourth generation is the one seen today, it will be equipped with SATCOM, SAR radar and improved engine.

Great development to have SATCOM but will we have opportunely to have a satellite orbiting the Earth under current Gov. ?
