The missile system gives India the capability to track all Pakistani air bases, while bringing the Chinese assets in Tibet in its striking range.

Moving a step closer towards acquiring the formidable Russian S-400 Triumf air defence system, the Indian Air Force has completed the trials of the missiles, which can shoot down fighter and surveillance aircraft, cruise missiles and drones at the range of 400 kms over enemy airspace itself.

"The field evaluation trials of the Russian air defence system have been completed by the Indian Air Force in Russia and they have been quite successful. The trials were conducted on two separate occasions and it performed to the satisfaction of the users," government sources told MAIL TODAY.

After the completion of trials, the defence ministry will now start the process of initiating the contractual negotiations with Rosoboronexport, the Russian agency which handles defence deals with foreign countries, including the fixation of price, the sources said.

Despite the high price tag attached with the five S-400 systems India is planning to acquire, the Indian Air Force is extremely happy to get the weapon system as it will give them an edge over Pakistan and bring them on par with the Chinese who have already installed this system, the sources said.

Well sir, its your mentality that needs an upgrade.
You got many aircrafts which are considered one of the second best. You got them, and you got them many in numbers. You got a big army and many more resources.
But the truth is:
Israel plans to destroy Pakistani atomic assets, comes long way with aircrafts, and you guys besides your presence in neighborhood were afraid to launch an attack on the assets which were more a danger for you guys. If Hindus are targeted in Bangladesh, you call a help from Israel. If Kashmiris are out of control, you guys call a help from a country, that was unable to handle Egypt and Jordan alone, had the US, German and French help was not with them.

So, buying more weapons will not solve your problems.
We Pakistanis dont have these systems, may be we have, but we are sure when ever a war with any country breaks out, we Pakistanis will finish the job, and we will finish it nicely.

Game changer will be if you send all the Bollywood girls to the border naked. Then our troops may be distracted. But after they have dealt with the Bollywood beauties trust me they will come for you no matter what. India thinks like America that wars can be won with weapons only. Theresescorts more to war than just weapons.

good news, but I think we are buying it late considering Russian are gearing up to induct S-500 into service and Chinese have bought this system long back...

Also, I read somewhere, Russia was ready to sale S400 to India with some strings attached like buying Russian 5th Gen Fighters and other Naval Assets.... anyone has any knowledge about that?
