According to the French bulletin "TTU", the French company Dassault Aviation began negotiations c Russian company "Tactical Missiles Corporation" on the possibility of the integration of Russian missiles in the arms of a fighter Dassault Rafale. This variant may play a role in the context of the sale of Rafale fighter jets to India.

Indian Air Force are armed with a large number of Russian-made missiles, rockets are particularly numerous air-to-air R-73 and RVV-AE missiles and air-to-surface a series of X-31.

Previously, the company Dassault stated that Rafale has not been selected number of potential customers because of too high cost "rocket pack" made in France, who was also a component of the "big" contract for the purchase of fighter aircraft.

Ehhmmm what exactly is the source? Its only showing google translator as a link...

OT: That totally makes sense. Fitting Russian missiles was surely planned from the beginning by the IAF since they make the bulk of our weaponry.

But french bulletin TTU is a respected news channel

Thats understandable as we use Russian missiles,we will wnat to integrate them in Rafale as well..but we are going to buy Matra,Meteor anyway, right???Meteor will be our "jewel" in A2A combat.. ;)

.
Any ways if any one interested about

Russian "Tactical Missiles Corporation" then here is the link

Tactical Missiles Corporation JSC

Kh-31 krypton is one of most deadliest weapon built by this corporation most probably it may be used on rafale:D

Yes we will go for them as well in a weapons package deal, but it would be obviously stupid if it would only be possible to fit Rafales with European weapons when the majority of our arsenal consists of Russian origin missiles.

Happy to see the french move foreword but where do we stand and when is the sign up happening?

See

the article never specifically mentioned about air to air missiles

but i assume Anti radiation missile may be the deal so Krypton can be that missile

.
It should have ability to carry Russian missiles so that it helps in emergency , but priority should be Western package of weapons .

.
If it has meteor it won't need r-77.R-73 is unique and a must,so i think they may get that.
If it has hammer and storm shadow then no need for kh-31.Brahmos will probably be there.

Well the M2ks are going to share much of the Rafale's weapon package and the SUPER SU-30MKIs are likely to get Western/European weapons. It seems the IAF is, smartly, trying to build a common inventory of munitions that can be used by multiple fighter types.
