I have no idea, all I know it is that it is mobile and domestic and based off of a Pakistani one. These types of conversations usually get really really uncomfortable so you just change the subject as quickly as possible.
I like KSA's low profile style, it is very similar to China's.
It in Arabian culture to develop in secret as much as possible. Keep as many cards under your sleeve as much as possible. Secrecy is an asset in Arabian culture and betraying it is considered an extremely shameful thing to do.

Secrecy is an asset in Arabian culture and betraying it is considered an extremely shameful thing to do. This is why countries that flaunt around their capabilities don't get much respect for it in Arabia, and it is considered idiotic and stems from lower understanding of things, it is just the culture I guess.
Yep, but sometimes it is just ridiculous. For example, the fact that Egypt produces UAVs in cooperation with Argentina has only just surfaced even though production of said UAVs started in 2007. As for Egypt's ballistic missiles, we haven't seen one since the late seventies or early eighties. It infuriates me.
I think we should give cruise missile technology to you guys and you can finance our long range ballistic Missile programsI've been burning to say this in the forum but I was waiting for a document like this to surface so I can speak more freely on the subject.
If only we were flashing poorly painted plastic and welder aluminium replicas and calling it the most advanced thing humanity has ever seen, but wait, only idiots do that.

@Mosamania @Yzd Khalifa
You guys displayed some DF-3s from the 90s in a Military Parade in June.
This news is only worthy if some Missiles have been made at the facility, regardless of ToT or indigenous R&D.
No I didn't read the report.
Also Mosamania, whats your background?

Speculation that Saudi Arabia is in the process of replacing its DF-3s was fuelled by the circulation of a photograph of Prince Fahd bin Abdullah bin Muhammad al-Saud visiting the Strategic Missile Force headquarters in Riyadh during his brief tenure as deputy defence minister in 2013. The photograph shows senior officers presenting him with a display case containing models of three missiles, including one that looks like a DF-3. There has been speculation that one of the other two missiles in the case is a Chinese DF-25 (CCS-5) with a pointier nose for a conventional warhead.
UPDATE: Saudi Arabia displays ballistic missiles for the first time - IHS Jane's 360
The news does say that a missile made in the facility was test fired and recorded a hit on 67 KM. And my background is something that I would like to keep off the internet thank you very much.
