it is good news it will allow Pakistan to have options when it comes to weapons procurement or joint training.

There is news that South Korea is ready to help Pakistan in ship building n defense, it will be very good for local industry.

We will know how much good these relations really are when Pakistan gets the required Military hardware from Russia.

Just pointing out what this visit really is. Pakistan is trying to end its alliance with the US, simply because someone has to be stupid to invade us now. We no longer need the US backing for defense and all things related to it. Our new policy is to look towards C.Asia, Turkey, Russia, Iran, GCC and China.

We don't have nor will have the money needed for TF-2000s. We should rather produce these enhanced frigates in strong numbers.

Iran? I don't think so, they are helping & financing terrorism in Balochistan province & PA knows that. Also there are some other reasons as well.

KSY has proposed to build a new advance light frigate for the navy ... We do have expertise n knowledge maybe not as compared to countries like china,Russia,USA or France .. But we can build frigs,corvettes,missile boats,STUS,replenishment ships etc ... We have already hailed a lot from projects like F-22s,agostas,midget subs,FACs etc etc

And can cooperate with frndly countries like china,Turkey,Indonesia etc .. But than again it all boils down to financial issues .. Apart from tht we have neglected our navy..
