Does Russia have anything near as advanced as the Type-55 cruiser that is currently being built in China?

Russian technology is old 1980s Soviet technology and they have not moved that far ahead since then. Only thing they have that is decent anymore is their SSNs and SAM systems such as S-400.

I actually still doubt whatever j20 is a true 5th generation of fighter, equally capable as f22 and f35. Whatever in hardware or software.

The Chinese supercomputer speed is verify by international independent institution. No way it can cheat. Oversea Chinese had more interactions with the developed Western world and had known their relatively lower performance. Our students who got difficulty with entrance to our local universities found it relatively easy to achieve excellence in the West. These oversea graduates usually have more confidence in their work on their return.

Well, if you are a true genius, then it is better to work in China because you will surely get your recognition.

While in the West, the talented Chinese will never get recognized because they won't let them to take the credits from the white men's achievement.
