Back when the American public supported helping Ukraine, US weapons were given rarely quickly and not in enough numbers to turn the tide of war. Never enough to finish off the Russians in Ukraine. As Ukraine stalls because not enough help was given, American support dwindles. The US media which I complained about for months, refused to do sob stories about the suffering of Ukrainians as various Ukrainian independent media does. I go instead to media that gives the full picture of events in Ukraine. Those that show kids having to do physical therapy because they lost legs. Those that show stories of families suffering from lost loved ones. These media stories with interviews should have been on MSNBC, CNN and other US media outlets. A new daily interview from suffering Ukrainians - raped, dismembered, family members that lost children asking for more aid to fight the Russians. The US media had American support for Ukraine at the beginning of the war and deliberately watched it dwindle to only a minority of Americans support sending aid to Ukraine.

USA is not supplying Ukraine with any weapon. They are limited to certain weapons to avoid escalation. USA has sent more Javelins, more Stingers than any other operator on the planet. The supply of offensive weapons like Abrams tanks, HIMAR rockets is limited

The real question is, can Russia outlast the West funding Ukraine? Is Russia an economy the size of Europe, North America, Australia and to some degree South Korea and Japan? No its not. Norway alone could probably fund the entire ukrainian defence by itself if they decided to do it.

They used to import from Norway.

The war could have been avoided, but Ukriane chose to be a slave state and cannon fodder. In WWII, war was inevitable and we had to defend our homeland. There is a big difference. Supposedly, China is buying crude, not refined, oil from Russia because China can refine the crude and resell the finished products at higher price. But Russia's oil industry has its own problems that selling crude does not help. Refined petroleum is where the real profits begins.

What you say is true. USA has not promised Ukraine all weapons in its arsenal. Certain weapons are supplied in large numbers. Certain are in limited numbers. Some weapons are off limits.
