Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

The Fall | Tightening The Avdiivka Noose | Russian Dominance In The Air. Military Summary 2023.10.22

R 37 air to air missile has about 400km range with mach 5-6 speed. I think it can be converted to air to ground role by using glonass-ins and removing its radar seeker or optionally replacing with an anti radar seeker although not necessary for static ad installations which most western systems are. It will have more range than 400km in a2g mode. This way Russia can attack Ukranian high end ad missiles like patriot-nasams(which has very limited anti missile capability it can shot down only slow cruise missiles using ground based amraam)-S300 and others with hypersonic-long range option much cheaper than Khinzal-Zircon and other options. Buk-Osa-S125 and other shorter range sams close to frontlines can be dealt cheaply as well by Fab 250-500 from 80km range

Russia needs to develop more elint capability to detect and locate Ukr ad radars by converting some of its fighters specifically for that role by adding elint pods to the wings.Elint pods can also be added to high flying larger drones like Orion.

Russia has already the Khibini pods..you can google it..But this war have exposed many stealth possibilities now a day, mostly in drones and some missiles..

Khibniy is more like ecm pods with some aspect of radio direction finding to jam that direction. Khibney may have some direction finding capability I dont know since it is a confidential ecm suite.

Elint requires a larger specialised pod to determine the approximate coordinates of enemy radar system(patriot nasams etc.). Then attack those positions by fab 250-500, R 37 a2g version so on.

This has an example pod attached to a long range uav.

This one is a large elint pod attached to a f16. So elint pod seems to be generally bigger than wingtip ecm pods and specialised solely for finding enemy radar locations.

Actually the answer is no and we’ve seen it first hand for 2 years.

Let's be serious

The Russians could have and can still absolutely decimate Kyiv, so why hasn't it.
Anyone who says they couldn't is speaking bullshit

They have chosen not to, it was never their intention to inflict such damage like the U.S is supporting the Jews to do in Gaza

Let me remind you clowns who think Russia is going to lose,, if the Russians get to that point, expect the Russians to level Ukraine.

They have tried going easy and it's the west taking the Ukrainians for a ride

Yes for sure, the Russians have chosen the slow way to protect Ukrainian civil victims and prefer to let their own soldiers die in thousands in mine-fields purely for humanity. :blah: :cuckoo:

That’s why cities like Marianka look still like beautiful and lovely places similar to so many Syrian cities which were leveled and flattened to rumble only for humanitarian reasons. :hitwall::crazy:

Sure.

But Russian standoff munitions have also flopped in Kyiv:

Missile attack on the Ukrainian postal terminal in Kharkov. A missile strike on the New Post office in Kharkov was carried out on the evening of October 21. Ukrainian authorities have already confirmed the fact of an attack on the Nova Poshta terminal. Reportedly, the logistics capabilities of the terminal were used to meet the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fire and rescue services are on the scene.

Why dont you tell us exactly what the russians have not been using against Ukraine, that could “level” the country?
