Ah but they love seeing Ukrainians and Russians destroying each other! Two Orthodox countries that could have united,are
instead destroying each other. If Ukraine manages to win,they will be indebted for decades. Half their country would practically be owned by Western companies. If Russia wins,they will probably be too weak and will have managed to unite the Western world in a new Cold War. Defence companies will be selling more and more weapons to European and other countries.

Unless the Russians start using tactical nukes...

The scale of war is very small. Only hundreds of tanks, hundreds of artillery, millions of shells. By comparison, in WW1, thousands of artillery, tens of millions of shells. 30,000 men killed on both sides per year. By comparison, 30,000 get killed in the US in gang wars per year. The small scale of war does not weaken either Ukraine or Russia which both have huge population.
