It already counter-sanctions, kicked out diplomats, breached trade contracts with gas/oil. Threathens nuclear attacks. And Interferes through media/far right parties.
What can it still do that is not a declaration of war and would bring in even MORE opposition/military against them?
In fact i believe from russia’s perspective that it should de-escalate.
Try to get this into a boring trench warfare with more or less fixed fronts. (And media and public losing attention)
in meantime push HARD the propaganda that “support just drags the war to go on” “bottomless money pit”. try to influence for a Trump presidency.
This will see support eventually dry up and ukraine being forced to concede territory for peace down the line.

Western social media is fast that is why its easier to claim khinzal failed. Russians are slow in posting kills. When west has control of information it can also make world think ukraine is in moscow.

Russia has completed the development of the Ptitselov air defense system for the Airborne Forces.
The short-range anti-aircraft missile system is designed to protect troops from enemy air attacks. "Ptitselov" is equipped with 12 guided missiles capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 10 km and an altitude of up to 5 km.

Russia not posting evidence of its claimed success is evidence of:
1. it didnt happen
2. russia is blind in orbit
If Russia cant provide foto evidence of the destruction of a patriot launcher they had no idea where to strike anyway. Russia destroying an entire Patriot system is certainly not true.
