Is the current camouflage paint approapriate for operating in eastern europe? They do tend to stick out like sore thumbs? ( suspect these M1s are the recent Polish orders being backfilled from current stocks asap ).

Scholz is no Russian fan or supporter in fact he dislikes them more then the Americans and others but here is the thing people don't understand Scholz is defending Germany.

He knows once a Russo-Nato conflict goes off Germany will pay the ultimate price as Russia is closer to their area and will take the burden..

To put it short Scholz is afriad of Putin note he doesn't love him or anything he is intimidated by Putin

Why is Scholz “more” scared then the neighbouring countries of Russia who are less worried and far more active in their support of Ukraine?? Surely they are more at risk but that does not seem to temper their decisions as much????

Since Russia is resorting to WWI-style human wave attacks and Ukraine is losing ground, Ukraine needs more men, arms and better entrenchment and tactics.

For starters, US needs to give more light, medium and heavy machine guns. M249 is being replaced, give Ukraine half the stockpile of these. And Ukraine must develop better defended trenches, along the entire front lines.

Once the M249 is retired, give the rest to NATO Europe as backfill for the weapons NATO Europe sent to Ukraine.

When Russia resorts to mechanized attacks, Ukraine needs more shoulder fired weapons. Have to anticipate and respond to changing tactics/strategy of the Russian Army.

Russia is planning an offensive involving 100.000s of assaulting Russian troops, supported by artillery fire and perhaps large armoured/mechanized units. Ukraine has to stop this offensive.
