Well, the thing is that there was Minsk I and Minsk II. And both were signed by France, Germany, Russia and Ukraine. And both let the Donbas within Ukraine. The only condition was: Ukraine had to stop bombing and killing people in Donbas. But Ukraine didnt stop.

Meanwhile we know through statements from Merkel and Hollande some weeks ago, that it was never meant to implement Minsk I and Minsk II by the west and Ukraine. Merkel (also Hollande) said: Minsk-treaty was only to get more time to arm Ukraine for a war against Russia. Let that sink in.

So Ukraine bomb on and kill on people in Donbas regardles of the signed treaties. With million refugees fled to Russia. To stop the killings Russia then marched in to end this Genocide.

So all other states who were involved at that time - France, Germany, Ukraine, England, USA - shit and piss on the killed in Donbas.

Dont ever tell me something about "moral high ground" again.

I will tell you about moral high ground again: you don't have to read it. I said nobody (including Russia) along with the countries you mention has a moral high ground on being right or humanitarian.

As for the Russians, they are the most racist of societies. They have no issue ruling using extreme violence to supress Checnhya and their other regions but they expect their own ethnic populations to be treated with peace. They need to treat their own republics with dignity and then shoudl demand/expect for ethnic Russians to be treated equally well.

They go medieval on their own minorities, I have no sympathy then how Russians are treated in any part of the world

We know Putin lied , not from CNN but to RT: this special operation was never touted a year ago for the defense of Russian population that were fighting for separation. May be if you thought its what it was about, you should have advised Kremlin to take this line from the beginning.

Leopards are much better suitable for european wars. Leo’s can run on cheap diesel fuel, needs 2 liter per kilometer. Abrahams needs 4 liter per kilometer, running on expensive gas turbine. Leopards run faster, lighter in weight, easier to maintain, easier to replace spare parts. In term of fire power leopards 2 can crush every Russia tanks with ease. The latest leopards 2 or 3 is like Mercedes compared to Lada.

All I saw are a dozen Humvees and Striker APCs. As far as I can see, neither of them will stand against those Russian guided atgms. I really don't see how these types of vehicles are a game changer at this point.

Hear it from the horse's mouth. All I can see is the folks who met at Davos were suicidal. For Russia, this war is an existential threat. That means, if they're pushed to a corner, they would opt to a next level of escalation. We'll see how it ends.
