Russia to lease K-322 Kashalot Nuclear Submarine to India.

A Russian military source at the Russian embassy in New Delhi has confirmed that negotiations on leasing the Kashalot K-322 nuclear power submarine of project 971 Shchuka had entered the final phase.

K-322 Kashalot is an Akula II class nuclear submarine that was operated by the Pacific fleet of the Russian Navy, currently undergoing overhaul and complete modernization at Amur Shipyard.

A significant boost to the IN and now we can patrol both the east and west sea's with one nuclear sub to spare for surfing International sea's.
