I do not see how the Russian comment is sensationalising things. After all just check the threads on here where Indians compare India constantly to countries smaller than themselves to make themselves look in a good light. India's Arsenal does not compare with the likes of China etc

There aren't a lots and ots of chinese members here on every thread. we have to
stay on topic (unlike you), thus we have to compare India's arsenal to much less powerful
countries like pakistn that are clearly on the verge of destruction.

India's arsenal does not compare...hmm...do you know the fighter aircraft (MKI for example)
is far more capable that any silly J-10/11? Do you know LCH can outclimb and outrange
WZ-10? India's arsenal is most favourably comparable to china's, than any others. china
is not any modern-age military strength as of now they're arsenals are 75% obsolete. compared
to india's arsenals which are 45% obsolete.

no man its not for you guys. its known very well why India made this missile. Anyhow its not possible to destroy all our missiles even in first strike. India is too big and there are lots of places to hide its missiles. Also from the sea India can launch missiles of much smaller range on Pakistan if it ever needs to. There is no doubt India will not use its 8000 km missile for Pakistan if indeed it is required to use the missiles. So just chillax.

This missile is not for Pak for sure. To be true India will never use its misisles against Pak EXCEPT for if u guys dont use first. So u need not be worried at all if u dont launch on India.

Also India is going to go for 10000+ also in future but surely it wont be for Pakistan but US and Rest of world just as a deterrence. (coz u never know who might become ur enemy even though we got good relations with US as of now). I hope u guys appreciate the worldwide rise of a South Asian country.

India never said that Agni-V was a 'long-range' ICBM.

That would be something like an 8000km missile.
