Do they still manufacture those Lada's mate.. Some sturdy cars those were albeit not so good looking.. My friends dad had a Samara.. I really dont know how he got it to Australia.. But it was something very rare those days nothing much came out of the Soviet Union to us living in the West

At the main plant "AvtoVAZ" they are no longer produced. However, they are produced under license in Egypt and some republics of the former USSR.
