It all started with Pakistan got all 4 Mi35M. The discussion took a turn to engines then to Land of Indus and then to resources.
4 helicopters are not a big deal. Come on guys take a deep breath no need to start fights with our Indian friends.
To all our Indian friends we are very poor but yet we developed nuclear weapons so you think couple of billions of dollars are issue for us. Think again and this time take your time.
It's not about helicopters it's about where we got it from.

because second hand f-16 is the only one that makes sense apart from fifth gen fighters
as second hand f-16s are cheaper from thunder(or LCA) and we have a setup for f16s
we dont want a maintaince nightmare

Let's see we gonna parade them on March 23rd or not.

Well yes have to agree with an Indian guy here, PAF budget is very limited but having said that we may not be required to pay $3-4 billions in one go, in case of a deal. Payment can be stretched over 5-6 years which means $500 million (on average) per year. Also PAF $2 billion budget is increasing by $1500-$200 per year. A heavy order is manageable if PAF wants to see beyond F16 as their top tier fighter jet.

@wiseone2 one should give u applause with your knowledge of our purchase really it's awesome. But if you are looking for $10billion dollar deal for some high end crap we have to be careful we have limited resources. We deal with care. We can boost about our finance and neither can you.
If I m not wrong you were buying 126 Rafales and now the no dropped to 36 what does this tell you when it comes to money it's only USA who have the luxury to spend the money like they want. So I would really suggest why don't we just stick to the topic.

1. can you send me a link indicating that deal was funded by USA, i can give you link where USA own DCSA publishes that its from Pakistani own funds...
2. you conveniently forgot about the SAAB deal, turkish and Ukrainian deal each of them above 1 billion dollars, and yeah forgot about the multiple follow up orders like 200 million dollars on SAAB so its 1.4 billion dollars, okay its 153 instead of 300. i was posting estimates lol
3. Pakistan major supplier have been USA and china, there are not many global arm sellers in the worlds
