Now iam wondering the PAKFA would be su27 and it will be developing on same platform like Su30,Su30mk,Su30mki,Su35 and also Su34!!!
The following not according to performance, it is according to development.

Russian open sources have stated that the prototypes are powered by the existing production Al-31F 117S, often labelled for marketing reasons as the Al-41F1A, variant 19,400/32,000 lbf (8,800/14,500 kp) engine, employed in the Su-35S. While this engine lacks the performance rating of the earlier developmental Al-41F series and its likely derivatives, it is capable of supercruise and thus permits significant flight test and flight control system development to be performed without the high risks characteristic of the concurrent use of a developmental engine and developmental airframe.

But uncertainties remain in terms of the capabilities and design of the intended powerplant for Full Rate Production aircraft. Saturn have been developing a new engine for the PAK-FA since 2006, labelled as the “Fifth Generation Fighter Engine”. Clearly this will employ technology from the existing 39,600 lbf class Al-41F, developed initially for the MFI

Su 27 was made for air superiority only, Su 35 is the multi role varient of it and the BM the latest upgrde, so if at all Pak Fa is comparable to Su 35BM roles, while FGFA to Su 30MK. I doubt that the Russians will develop a side by side varient of th Pak Fa comparable to Su 34, because in the time when that would be necessary, UCAVs like Mig Skat will take over the deep strike roles, or will be used alongside of Pak Fa. A naval Pak Fa for the same roles like Su 33 on the other hand is more than likely, but is dependent on when the new Russian carriers will come.

I think the under carriage needs to be perfected....

the Whole plane needs to be Redesigned... may as well build a good one this time...

though I think it will be addressed in later modules by implimenting the internal weapons bay.Then it will be a real stealth platform in the league of F22 Raptor ....

you'll be lucky if it turns out to be as stealthy as F-117
