Did you ever check since when other countries are using drones in what kind of different roles since decades ... and Russia only started with own systems just recently!!

But for you "Russia aims to become major drone power"

Key-word is probably "aims to become"!

Humans are working day and night to produce something that is intended to kill fellow humans.
According to research humans were not here some 45000 years ago. Modern humans suddenly appeared sometimes 45000 years ago from Africa. And I think it will not take more than 1000 further years them to vanish 100%.

Russia has the infrastructure to become drone power. While Turkey has recently developed twin engined drones liked Akinci, Turkey don't have jet engine. Russia already has jet engine tech, boom, AL-31 goes into S-70 right there. No trouble at all.
