Yeh this 31 billion debt the government incurred in 5 years already includes the 20 billion burned to peg dollar at 100 . IT means in total they took only 11 Billion dollars loan kept the country running , removed the power shortages , growth rate 5 percent , coal power , solar, windpower, dams , petrol was at 70 , and flour was for 700, what not. Dont forget APS , war on terror etc etc .

The export went down but were up again within there tenure to 23 billion .They increased FBR revenues from 2200 billion to 4000 billion PKR in 5 years gradually ; 18 billion dollar increase in revenue in form of HARD Tax without hurting the public and that too is collected per year now. Now take exports and revenues from both tenures , Total Revenue has actually decreased by billions in dollar terms . Thats why IK has to go to IMF and take loan from saudi at 4 percent interest rate ?

PTI and Saqib Nisar did unimaginable damage to this country in the name of Tabdeeli and Dam.

It is either a special kind of a retard or a manipulative person who picks selective text out of a single post from a whole lot of conversation to post a reply; which one is you?

So, when you want to get specific, when Khakan Abassi left the PM'ship on the 31st of May, the USD was around 115 and NOT 121+ as you posted.....it was you who LIED.

Regardless, my opinion has always been that PML Government ended the day Nawaz Sharif was immorally removed from PM'ship as that was the day the entire world knew that Pakistan was no longer open for business and that there was more instability to come; and the USD was at Rs. 104.85 on 31st of May 2017 which was less than a month from removal of an elected PM. Nevertheless, even when considered at 115, the PKR depreciated a whole lot less than PTI's tenure of a mere 3 years and a few months so far. By the looks of things, we will end up around 250 by the time PTI concludes the tenure.

Exports dropped because most of the export oriented industry had packed its bags for Bangladesh, Vietnam and China due to..........guess due to what???? Well, let me tell you, because of acute shortage of POWER where industry was facing 12-18 hours of daily load shedding. And that's the prime time for IPP's to force the Government to bend to pricing and contracts of it's will because in that situation, the IPP's were in a position to dictate terms; and still, the contracts weren't hurting us at 105 PKR/USD. It wasn't like the gift of surplus power which PTI inherited because of which now we are able to provide uninterrupted power to all industries.......well, mostly, as long as we don't repeatedly FU** up the gas import, etc.!!!!

Burning of USD, subsidies, lower prices of commodities, electricity, gas, expensive contracts with IPPs etc., was all benefiting the common Pakistani (despite the billions of rupees of daily corruption) and yet at the same the the condition of debt and liabilities was much much better than it is today when there is no burning of USD, no subsidies, highly inflated prices of commodities, electricity, gas etc., and as per claim not even billions of rupees of corruption everyday; Shame on all those who buy and sell this crap!!! Growth was import driven (declining exports) with a 20b current account deficit ... even PPP was not this damaging! Rupee is down as pegging was stopped.
