These settlement should come up with special provisions in laws which gaurantees the security safety n livelihood of inhabitants irrespective of gov in centre n state....

Then whats the solution? What should be done for those ppl who want to return but cannot due to fear of violent repercussions? Those who don't want to return can be settled elsewhere but what about those who want, they will be butchered if they are not protected.

One solution is to keep us as a little stone to hit the separatists, to rightly expose their jihadist motives all the while accepting our current situation as mute, harmless pawns, nay martyrs on the altar of secularism.

We all keep arms. The Shia village next to us(full of Srinagar refugees) also collaborates with us. We have done this without government support. Imagine what we can do. Especially if we abandon dignity or our customary Pandit restraint.

Its a controversial but necessary move.

1. Too little too late.
2. Why isolated blocs of the religiously similar? Why build ghettos or armed kibbutzes?
3. Is there any long-term security guarantee? What if the next elected government is different, stops defending these enclaves, and withdraws security support?
4. Who is it for? Most of the KPs won't come back to this for any price.

Its a controversial but necessary move. These people have suffered enough. The next elected govt will need to keep defending these "religious enclaves" as they are the legitimate people of the land.
