I agree. They got 'drip drip' support from Turkey, Pakistan, Saudia Arabia including Afghan jihad volunteers. But all that was just life support. By itself it would have and did not stop the massacre of Muslims. The arrival of US Army was the turning point. Serbs knew they were fcuked. It was ultimately US military power that chastened the Serbs and in time even gave Kosovar Muslims independence.
For me this event proves something more important. People say America is against Muslims. That is utter hogwash. If you look at Swedish Amish community they could easily pass off as hardcore Muslims when they are not. However they are treated like a special group and accorded protection while be looked after with kids gloves. Similiary USA put it's soldiers in harm way to protect Muslims in Bosnia. Ditto Muslims in Kosva both of whom shower roses on American soldiers.
But all these groups are white, blond and blue eyed which is a quality that overcomes any US bias against 'Muslims'. As I find in UK the anti Muslim sentiment is largely racism dressed as religion. Muslim is just a metaphor for brown.
Yes correct unlike the many chest thumper's so called Islamists the extent of Pakistan, KSA and Iran involvement in the Balkan conflicts of the 1990s was quite minimal, in fact it was just weapons transfers and some volunteers after the conflict died down after 1995 the Bosnians jailed a bunch of Pakistani, Arab and non Slavic Muslim fighters for "terrorism charges". As usual the Yanks always use this when a rival non western power gets in its way or starts to have cordial if very decent relations with the Muslim World as whole , its called "The Islamic Card", Zbigniew Brzezinski pioneered this during the Soviet incursion in Afghanistan in the 1970s and 1980s get the Muslim world so pissed off at said "atrocities" against fellow Muslims then use it against a rival power or country it worked with Soviets the Muslim world turned against them and they got their a//s beat and left in 1989. Same thing happen in 90s Yugoslavia , create rifts among the Croats,Bosniaks,Serbs, Slovenians,Macedonians,Albanians and whatever ethnic groups that made up the former Federal Yugoslavia .Prior to the conflicts Yugoslavia had excellent ties with Arab states since the Tito era it was an ally of Saddam Iraq as well plus it had one of the strongest armies in Eastern Europe the Americans wanted to control the Adriatic and Mediterranean sea keep the Russians away from the Balkans that was the main reason not to help the poor "Bosnian" and 'Albanian" Muslims they were just cannon fodder at best now look at the Balkans and Bosnia now they are poorer than in Yugoslav times losing population to emigration cause no jobs no safety net like in the Yugoslav era Bosnia is mess politically the Bosnians lost in not having a state of their own the Serbs/Croats have to share in a an uneasy union and they got 3 Freaking Presidents plus an EU rep that runs the damn place, same goes for Kosovo a state that is just a big US base with shady drug trafficking regime or so called "Government" that Washington sponsers, anyways the Yanks are so good at this they are now using the Uyghurs as an excuse for their geo political aims against a rising China whether you like Beijing or not for their tough stances in Western regions of Xinjiang the Yanks do not give a damn about the Uyghurs they are just slitty eyed sand n,,,ers for them ready to use against a geo political rival as in the past they used Muslims against the Soviets and Yugoslavs we never learned.

Serbia makes pretty decent defense products again a product of being part of the Former Yugoslavia we should have good ties with them heck Serbo-Turkish relations are at their best these days joint economic and defense co-op Kosovo has become a nightmare for the Turks as the Albanians have backstabed them a lot in the past regarding the Gulen movement and frankly even their so called "Prime Minister of Kosovo" supported a idea of Indepedent Kurdistan so ties have frayed good for Serbia as this curry's the favor that Kosovo is fake state only protected by the Yanks the drug traffic mules in Prishtina.Same should be with our relations with Armenia as well
